Language requirements

All candidates should demonstrate a good command of the English language since this is the teaching language of the postgraduate course.

Efficient attendance of the Course requires as a minimum proficiency in English equivalent to Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) level.

The candidates are required to provide a standardised English language test, such as the ones listed below along with the minimum required test scores, or equivalent.

with a minimum of 4.5 in written English

TOEFL

Internet Based Test (iBT)

 

iBT: 88

with a minimum of 24 in Writing and 20 in Speaking

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Cambridge

6.5, with a minimum of 5 in the written element

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)

C

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

B

 

Students must make arrangements to take the appropriate test well in advance of the start of their course and their places will not be confirmed prior to the submission of the acceptable test scores/results.

Exceptions to the English language test will be applied to candidates who have completed their first degree or a postgraduate course in an English-language university or whose mother tongue is English.
