Origins
The programme was launched in 2007 as part of an INTERREG III B CADSES project. According to the recovered July 2013 homepage, its pilot year was completed in August 2008.
The consortium
Four institutions collaborated: the National Technical University of Athens, the University of Belgrade, the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest and the University of Ljubljana. The programme developed English-language educational materials for distance learning.
Its educational structure
Four thematic areas connect foundational science, urban water, water resources management and environmental policy. The recovered curriculum contains 12 modules and a research thesis. Historical admission requirements, credit allocations and certification rules are preserved as dated programme records.
What this restoration preserves
The restored website keeps the original academic URLs where content could be recovered. A new catalogue and water-balance lab make the material easier to explore. Historical university records are retained without claiming that the old programme is accepting applications today.
