Practise a complete submission before the real assignment

The 84-page EDUCATE student manual describes an earlier Moodle-based platform. This guide turns its access, course-navigation and submission sequence into a rehearsal you can adapt to the course you actually use. It does not restore accounts or promise that old screens still exist.

Identify the version and operator

Use the manual to understand the sequence, not to obtain present login credentials. The front matter calls it a student manual even though some running headers say “Teacher’s Manual”. Keep that inconsistency visible in your source notes. Verify the current course operator and approved login route through its own documentation.

Rehearse without a high-stakes file

Create a small practice answer containing no personal data. Locate the course, task brief, criteria, deadline and time zone; then use the actual approved submission route. Record the filename and visible status. An upload indication and a final submitted status may be different states: check what the current system calls them.

Make a completed record

Fictional record: task PRACTICE-01; file practice-answer.txt; submitted at 09:15 in the declared course time zone; final status recorded; confirmation retained locally. If the final state cannot be identified, record that uncertainty and seek the authorised help route. Do not send a password or sensitive document to a contact from the old PDF.

Review the feedback route

Locate where comments or corrections will appear and how to recognise a later revision request. Check whether the system allows resubmission and who can confirm the rules. Keep your own permitted copy of the submitted work. The rehearsal is complete when you can demonstrate the final state and find the feedback, rather than merely reach the homepage.
